Here is the time to refresh this journal of ideas and impressions.

First of all, I sincerely thank all people who came by and gave me great birthday wishes here, on my November 8th picture or on my profile. I honestly was very surprised to see 33 notes of birthday wishes, although I found it rather amusing that the majority were almost all told in privacy! Are you that much shy, my dears?

Anyway, I had a great time reading and answering all of these little or long thoughts. It is very much appreciated!


Let's follow on to some impressions:

I am probably sure that those who follow news of the upcoming Vth SoulCalibur can't wait for the game to come out! I personally am very curious of this story that follows 17 years after, aren't you? There will be a lot of new revelations and probably drama for sure…! This is however a little too bad that it is that long after but at least, it's not 30…

I have an interest for the mysterious Viola since she is new and that a lot of people think she is Amy. I am not sure what to answer about it; it is so confusing…  I think that we shall all wait before giving any conclusions. I find it rather annoying when people are 100% sure about what they say but at the end, it's not this at all…

Anyway, I have good expectations for the game. It looks more fast and balanced, without mentioning a lot more of liberty! The newcomers are also pretty interesting and finally a guest character that does not annoy me too much. I am totally not a guest character appreciator but Mr. Auditore seems to fit more than the others at least so I am giving him a chance.

The IVth one disappointed me a little. The good points were the graphics, musics and costumes on my opinion. It looked almost like a game that wasn't complete, like if a lot of things were missing.


Moving on, many artworks of the crew are already discovering themselves and I am not disappointed of these detailed outfits, once again!  

I am very confident with the Vth one; I really like the mix of vampire and musketeer. This brings a new touch and I got use to the scarecrow hat that is very new and reminds people of some other characters that I have no clue who they are (except Van Helsing). I am kidding about referring it as a scarecrow's hat but I simply can't help it. Yet, I like it and I even already worked and almost finished it! Of how much I hate working with leather, I am very proud of how it came out but I shall show it only when I will finish the entire project! The dark grey suit under is also something new, along with the gloves that look like a fun challenge and of course, once again, bats… many bats!

On another case, since it was my first project of all and that it is lacking from perfections for my own taste, I am at the moment redoing the entire costume of SoulCalibur IV, at my own regret…  The reason of this revamping idea is because I absolutely didn't like the coat since the beginning and also because it is now too small for me.  Many details were incorrect as well as some proportions and even the colours are not right! The colour of this piece is an absolute puzzle. Sometimes it looks green, other times it looks grey or even blue, but not black! I think that a mix of those three colours in one would look good... So well, I am doing an entire new one with a lot more of satisfaction. I also decided at the same time to why not redoing the accessories as well.

I am envisaging to finish it for the beginning of spring so expect real major changes and not a lot from me for a little time. From now, I have no idea of when I will post something new but it surely will be this year.


I also wish that I could draw more but it is now complicated to find some time for this. We'll see once time will tell...


Enough rambling or my blonde hair will turn white with time. Looking already pale grey, this shall not make a lot of differences anyway though…
